The roots of Thor Hammers can be traced back to 1900 when The Birmingham Belting Co Ltd was founded. The business concentrated on flexible drive belts as well as rawhide hammers and mallets. More than 100 years later Thor Hammers is still a family owned business which exports to more than 80 countries. Some of the hammers and mallets manufactured still follow the original design from the early 1900's.
