Though lighter in weight that the Professional BV Series, these are extremely sturdy and very useful in general purpose workshop applications. Manufactured from high quality grey iron castings - a very strong material with excellent shock absorbing capacity and immense strength under compression, these are machined to close tolerances, are designed for smooth operation and reliability. These vices are designed for gripping / holding jobs and should not be used where heavy hammering is anticipated.
